Outdoor signage comes in many shapes but are usually rectangle. They have fluorescent tubes for lighting and an acrylic or Lexan (polycarbonate) face. Lexan faces are the best for the Colorado climate as they are less affected by the temperature or the strong Ultraviolet rays. An advantage you have with a light cabinet sign versus channel letters is that you are able to put graphics on a face and they are less expensive than channel letters.
